Patrick Hosts Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Mobile Exhibit

Patrick recently had the honor of hosting the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit in Elkhart, drawing over 1,000 community members to tour the powerful memorial. This unique 83-foot tractor-trailer transforms into a 1,100-square-foot exhibit, featuring artifacts from the World Trade Center, guided tours from retired FDNY firefighters, and personal stories from September 11, 2001.
The exhibit arrived with a police escort and was welcomed with an opening ceremony attended by first responders, veterans, Elkhart’s mayor, and Patrick team members. The exhibit provided visitors with an immersive and emotional experience, offering them the opportunity to see and touch pieces from Ground Zero, including a section of the tower’s foundation and a firefighter’s jacket.
Patrick brought the exhibit to Elkhart to honor and remember the tragic events of 9/11 and to educate those who were too young to remember or were born after the attacks.
“We were all American’s that day,” said Patrick President, Jeff Rodino, during the opening ceremony of the event.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, established in memory of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, supports first responders, veterans, and their families. The foundation’s initiatives include providing mortgage-free homes to the families of fallen heroes and housing for homeless veterans.
“To be able to take this around to places where people will never have the opportunity to go to the city, to bring a little bit of that day with them, it means a lot,” said Billy Puckett, field manager of the exhibit.
